The protesters held posters with the inscriptions “A working person should not be poor, this is a disgrace to the state!”, “Taxation of pensions is a national disgrace!”, “No to production cuts and unemployment, yes to jobs!”.
The current government's policy is antisocial and is aimed only at enriching those in power, representatives of labor collectives are convinced. “There is not a single positive reform, only experiments on the country and people. The authorities take billions from creditors, which they give to us, our children and grandchildren,” said Antonov State Enterprise engineer Lyudmila Skosareva in her speech.
As stated by Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine Sergei Kondryuk, trade unions intend to picket the Cabinet of Ministers on June 3 and 10.
