“Now it’s clear what brotherly relations are. Brothers in tanks and armored personnel carriers enter the territory of a sovereign state. We don’t need such brotherhood!” – Yatsenyuk said about Russia’s actions in Crimea.
“This is not a two-way conflict. These are actions of the Russian Federation aimed at undermining the global security system,” he emphasized, adding that Western countries “must protect an independent sovereign power.”
Kyiv cannot cope on its own - in aviation alone the ratio is 1 to 98, not in favor of Ukraine, the official clarified.
Yatsenyuk recalled that the United States, where he is heading, “is a guarantor country, this country, like the entire Western world, which has very firmly and clearly spoken out for the territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
“There is no legitimate government in the form of the so-called government of Crimea - this is a group of bandits who seized power with the support of the Russian military,” he emphasized.
Yatsenyuk said that for 5 days he has not been able to reach the head of the Russian government, Dmitry Medvedev. According to him, Ukraine is “ready for transparent negotiations, where the Russian Federation recognizes the course towards the EU and the territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
