Yatsenyuk insists: Negotiations on Donbass cannot take place without the United States
Kyiv, August 27 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Negotiations on restoring peace in Donbass must necessarily take place with the participation of the United States - there are not enough representatives of the European Union, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said at a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

“Yesterday, trilateral consultations took place, and the only country that does not know that this war was started directly by the Russian Federation is Russia itself. At least, this conclusion can be drawn from the words of President Putin.
Therefore, the path to stopping the war lies in only one plane: restoring control over the Ukrainian-Russian part of the border, Russia suspends arms supplies and shelling of Ukrainian territory, the OSCE monitors the implementation of these agreements.
The only format for achieving such agreements is the United States, the European Union and Ukraine, and the Russian Federation as an aggressor country, which must be forced to comply with international law and its international obligations.
There are no excessive expectations from our meetings, but we need to go through the entire possible negotiating path in order to establish peace,” Yatsenyuk said.
