Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk appointed the Deputy Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to this position in 2012-2013. Igor Kabanenko, reports the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
Let us recall that in the first half of March, Kabanenko was one of the first to call for the mobilization and conduct of an anti-terrorist operation in Ukraine.
In addition, he warned about the preparation of a front-line offensive operation by the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine.
