Yatsenyuk declared his party with a one percent rating “the guarantor of the defense and renewal of Ukraine”
On the eve of the New Year, ex-Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who has recently spent more time not in Ukraine but on lobbying trips to world capitals, decided to remind Ukrainian voters of himself.

“Dear Ukrainians! We went through three very difficult years together. You have been told a lot of lies about the Popular Front and our team. While others lied, we did what the country needed. It was the Popular Front that became the political guarantor of the defense and renewal of Ukraine. We have laid the foundation for economic growth. Our position is valued and respected in the world because we act. The Popular Front creates, not destroys. We support, not stab in the back. I always said it wouldn't be easy. But we will succeed. Victory is truly ours. May the Lord protect our army, our state and our Ukrainian people!” says the text of the congratulation posted on Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s official page on the social network.
To make it even more convincing, Yatsenyuk’s congratulations are illustrated with an old election video from the Popular Front with the slogan “Strong team for difficult times.” As jokers on social networks have already noted, this is a hint that “difficult times” for Ukraine will never end.
Let us recall that, contrary to the expectations of many experts, after his resignation Yatsenyuu did not disappear from the political horizon of Ukraine, but retained his influence on the Ukrainian government through his people in the government, and his lobbying capabilities abroad were demonstrated by the reception given to him by Angela Merkel. Despite the fact that by status she is the head of government of the strongest EU country, and he is simply a retired politician from a country experiencing crisis and war.
