Yatsenyuk fears Western weakness in front of Putin

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk asks the West not to even hint to Russia about lifting sanctions.

He stated this at the Yalta European Strategy summit.
According to him, any hints about lifting sanctions indicate the weakness of the collective West.
“If you have different messages for Putin, if you say that you will lift sanctions if something small happens, that will be weakness. This is, in fact, support for Putin in his aggression. Sanctions can be lifted only in one case – with the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, if Donetsk, Lugansk and Crimea return to Ukraine,” Yatsenyuk said.
