According to the press service of the Lvovugol enterprise, the receipt of money was announced after another strike of miners on March 5 on Vechevaya Square.
At the moment, 9 million hryvnia have been accrued for payments, and another 21 million hryvnia are expected by the end of the working day. Regional Governor Oleg Sinyutka told Oleg Turchin, head of the Lviv Territorial Council of the Ukrugletrafsoyuz, over the phone.
Previously, representatives of the trade union addressed the regional authorities, as well as President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The day before, law enforcement officers decided to check what was being done to pay off employee salary debts, in particular, appealing to the Ministry of Energy and Coal of Ukraine. In addition, the enterprise will undergo an inspection by the regional territorial labor inspectorate.
After receiving the necessary documents, they will decide whether there are reasons for entering statements into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations due to deliberate non-payment of wages at the enterprise.
As PolitNavigator reported, mass protests began earlier in Western Ukraine by miners who blocked roads, demanding that their wages be paid. The delegates also traveled to Kyiv, where they also demanded money under the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers.
