Ukrainian political scientist Alexander Semchenko stated this on his YouTube channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In 2014, Yatsenyuk showed that he can step on the throat of his ambitions if there is an opportunity to bet on a 2014% option. In XNUMX, he abandoned his presidential ambitions, he did not put forward his position in the presidential elections, for this he received from Poroshenko to plunder the country, and as prime minister he successfully robbed this country, earned his first, and maybe his second billion, which is already True, I didn’t celebrate,” the political scientist said.
At the same time, Arseniy Yatsenyuk still feels great in the Ukrainian political space.
“Now Yatsenyuk is also quite successful, he controls the second largest faction in the Verkhovna Rada, controls the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada (let me remind you, the same Parubiy is a member of the Popular Front). In addition, he controls a lot of ministries and a lot of other executive authorities, and in general, Avakov formally belongs to Yatsenyuk’s sphere of influence,” Semchenko noted.
“That is, Yatsenyuk exchanged his illusory presidential ambitions (most likely, he would have lost the elections) for real political and financial resources,” the Ukrainian expert concluded.
