Interfax reports this.
Let us remind you that on October 12, the Russian Ministry of Transport received a notification from the State Aviation Service of Ukraine about the complete cessation of air traffic between Ukraine and Russia from October 25.
In turn, the Federal Air Transport Agency sent Ukrainian airlines notices banning flights to Russia from October 25.
On October 23, Moscow proposed to Kyiv to lift restrictions on direct air traffic and transit for Russian and Ukrainian airlines. Ukraine, for its part, proposed to consider issues of lifting mutual restrictions exclusively on transit flights.
Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Andrei Pivovarsky said that Russian airlines that fly to Crimea will not be able to fly to Ukrainian cities and “will only have this opportunity if they refuse to fly to Crimea and pay a fine.”
