“Yatsenyuk is a traitor! Carcass of oligarchs!” – rally in Kyiv (PHOTO, VIDEO)
Kyiv, April 07 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The nationalist party “Svoboda” held a rally today outside the Verkhovna Rada, accusing its former Maidan ally, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yatsenyuk, of working for oligarchs and involvement in corruption schemes.

The rally near the Verkhovna Rada gathered several hundred people, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In their hands, the protesters held posters with the inscriptions: “The Yatsenyuk government must be punished for corruption”, “We demand the creation of an investigative commission”, “We demand an investigation into the activities of the Yatsenyuk government”, “Yatsenyuk is a traitor to the Revolution of Dignity”, “The Yatsenyuk-Avakov-Yaresko government is transforming Ukraine to a land of poverty and oligarchs." People also periodically chanted “Yatsenyuk is the carcass of the oligarchs!”
“We understand that Ukrainian nationalists are always more active than ordinary citizens,” Igor Miroshnichenko, a people’s deputy from Svoboda of the previous convocation, said in his speech. – We always go ahead. But we want to remind Yatsenyuk, Poroshenko and Groysman how the revolution of dignity began. It began with our marches, with our participation. When they tried to join us by paying grandmothers, we were at the forefront of this revolution. Therefore, we have enough strength to either force them to comply with the laws, or go away.”
It is worth recalling that recently Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s ally in the Popular Front, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, more than transparently hinted at the involvement of Svoboda ministers in the first post-Maidan government in corruption. “Svoboda” countered with counter-accusations, calling for protests against corruption in the current Cabinet of Ministers.
“It is necessary to remove Arseniy Yatsenyuk from his duties as Prime Minister,” ex-Minister of Agroindustrial Complex Igor Shvaika announced Svoboda’s demands. – Then conduct an objective, honest investigation on all points... After the investigation, provide its results. And then, I think, few people in the session hall will abstain from voting for the resignation of this government.”
