Thus, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Yatsenyuk was informed that with the loss of Crimea, Ukraine lost 8% of the income of sea ports and 10% of cargo handling. After this, the annoyed prime minister instructed the Ministry of Infrastructure to sue Russia under international maritime law.
“There is information that some of the ships entering Crimea then freely enter other Ukrainian territories. They change the flags there and enter our ports without hindrance. Control over such vessels should be your responsibility. Once again, I would like to remind you that this is a violation of international law, so the Ministry must actively fine it, since this is a violation of international law,” Yatsenyuk said.
