Yatsenyuk admitted that there is no money in the treasury to repay loans to those mobilized into the Ukrainian army
Kyiv, May 07 (Navigator, Egor Kagorov) – The Ukrainian treasury does not have the funds to repay the loans of citizens mobilized into the army under the pretext of the threat of Russian invasion.
Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada.

“One of the main problems for those people who are currently serving is loan payments. The total number of such people is about two and a half thousand. The volume of the loan is 10 million in foreign currency and 25 million hryvnia in total for these two and a half thousand in national currency.
We have raised funds to pay off interest, one hundred and 100% of interest repayment, during the service if the person concerned was mobilized.
I’ll tell you frankly, I would like to, well, repay part of the loan, but I’ll be frank with you: firstly, we don’t have the money for this, and secondly, half the country will have to repay the loans at once. And as for those people who serve, we pay off the interest during their stay,” Yatsenyuk said.
Deputy Inna Bogoslovskaya noted that now in the Ukrainian army there is “great tension among those who were attracted through mobilization.” “People do not have the guarantee of a loan freeze. People do not have the same average wage at their place of work, people do not have a signal from the state what to do,” Bogoslovskaya said.
