About it Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk wrote on his Facebook page.
A. Yatsenyuk noted that “during the meeting with French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, they spoke, in particular, about two basic elements of economic cooperation between Ukraine and France - investments in the energy and agricultural sectors. We are already successful in the energy sector because we work with Gaz de France. The results of this work are obvious: this is a good price, profitable contracts for gas supply. In addition, our states cooperate in the nuclear field.”
“France is also ready to take an active part in the privatization of Ukrainian state property. This is the investor that the Ukrainian economy needs,” the prime minister wrote.
A. Yatsenyuk also noted that “our goal is to enable investors to come to Ukraine, create jobs for Ukrainians and help Ukrainian businesses.”
Let us recall that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the putting up for sale in 2015 of more than 300 objects, including sea ports and 25 state mines, as well as shares of parts of thermal generation and regional power companies.
