“I keep waiting for them to finally cut budget expenses. But even here they leave some of their own schemes, not wanting to cut budget expenses in essence. They will again reduce costs for doctors, teachers, and cleaners in ministries. Lower-level staff will be cut. These people will be unemployed, and money will have to be spent to pay benefits. In general, it cannot be said that there will be any real budget savings,” the expert noted.
Drogovoz emphasized that cutting lower-level workers will still not produce results; other items will also need to be cut.
“We’ll wait until they finally start to really reduce it. All this had to be done quickly, last year. But they do it reluctantly, they try to “extend the pleasure.” But every month of delay will have catastrophic consequences,” the expert noted.
