This was reported in the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers after Yatsenyuk’s meeting with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy - Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini.
“Separately, during the conversation, we discussed measures to support internal reforms in Ukraine. In particular, the initiative to create a fund to increase payments to Ukrainian officials and civil servants was discussed, as was recently discussed in a letter from Yatsenyuk to European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker,” the press service said.
Yatsenyuk believes that the creation of such a fund is “one of the important means of overcoming corruption in the system of government.”
