“We have few talented people. There are few of them all over the world,” said Katya Osadchy, host of the “High Life” program, during the premiere of the film “The Guide.”
According to him, he has friends, and among them there are talented friends, and director Oles Sanin is one of these talented people, of whom there are few. The prime minister addressed questions about the amount of his “contribution” to the director himself.
Oles Sanin also avoided answering the question directly. It is only known that the creation of the film as a whole cost 2 million dollars.
Sanin recalled that Yatsenyuk allocated personal money when he was still in the opposition.
As PolitNavigator reported, a scandal erupted in the process of nominating a Ukrainian Oscar nominee: the creators of the main rival film of The Guide, the film Tribe, announced corruption in the Ukrainian Oscar committee.
