Yatsenyuk is suing a Ukrainian blogger over 24 villas in Miami
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk filed a claim in the Solomensky District Court of Kyiv against blogger Oleg Torgalo, the author of a publication about his acquisition of 24 villas in Miami (USA).

“I declare that I do not and have never owned any movable or immovable property outside the state of Ukraine; I do not have foreign bank accounts; I have nothing to do with foreign companies, much less I am the owner or ultimate beneficiary of companies registered outside our State,” Yatsenyuk wrote.
He also assures the court that he is a citizen of Ukraine, has never had citizenship and has not received the right to permanent residence in any other country in the world.
“I demand that the disseminated information be recognized as unreliable and that the author of this fake be obliged to refute the manner in which this false information was disseminated within ten calendar days from the date of entry into force of the court decision,” the former prime minister wrote.
Let us recall that on November 30, the Kiev website “Observer” published Torgalo’s blog, in which he, with reference to a friend living in Miami, reported on Yatsenyuk’s purchase of villas. “It turns out that he recently flew to Miami and purchased 24 properties (villas), from $1 to $5 million. He chose everything himself from catalogs, looked at some of them himself, and sent assistants to others. The calculation was made through offshore companies that were not externally connected with him. The information is ironclad, I am fully responsible for it!” – the message said.
