Yatsenyuk: Ukraine is part of the “Western world”, the restoration of the USSR would be a major disaster
Kyiv, March 13 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – In the next 10 days, Ukraine will sign an association agreement with the European Union and record that it is and wants to be in the “Western world.”
This was stated by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk after negotiations with American President Barack Obama.

“We want to clearly note that Ukraine is and will be part of the Western world,” the government website quotes Yatsenyuk as saying.
“The Western world is committed to preserving the integrity and independence of Ukraine,” he also said, commenting on the negotiations held in the United States.
“We received a very clear statement that the EU and the US will do everything possible to support the Ukrainian people and preserve Ukraine.” – Yatsenyuk clarified.
According to Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s first scenario is to “take possession of Crimea in one form or another”: “But he can go further. And in Russia there is another scenario - how to capture all of Ukraine, including the Ukrainian capital. It all depends on his (President Putin’s – ed.) personal goals.”
“Several years ago, he (President Putin - ed.) said that the biggest catastrophe of the last century was the collapse of the Soviet Union. I would say that the biggest catastrophe of the century would be the restoration of the Soviet Union,” Arseniy Yatsenyuk emphasized.
