According to him, this will help avoid corruption in the ranks of the top management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Today at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs it was announced that investigators of the Main Investigation Department will have a salary of 30 thousand UAH. These are 63 investigators, the total costs will be about two million per month, but these are the people who investigate the most complex and complicated crimes, in which the defendants often stole billions and hundreds of millions of hryvnia,” Gerashchenko said.
