Kyiv, December 16 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Due to the inaction of the authorities, coal mined in mines in the territory controlled by Ukraine has been idle in wagons for several months and is not shipped to thermal power plants. The chairman of the independent trade unions of Ukraine, Mikhail Volynets, stated this on Espreso TV.

According to him, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk is to blame for this, as he cannot establish interaction between the country's ministries.
“I’m talking about the Dobropolsky group of mines – Selidovo, Krasnoarmeysk, Lisichansk. This is our territory, but coal is not exported from there. 500 cars stand at the marshalling yard in Debaltsevo, loaded four months ago with anthracite. And all because of the chaos and irresponsibility in government. Let the Prime Minister invite the Minister of Fuel, Economy, Finance, Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and ask why the coal was not taken out, why today 29 thermal units at thermal power plants stopped due to a lack of coal,” Volynets said.
