This was stated by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the LPR Gennady Tsypkalov, quoted by the Lugansk Information Center.
Tsypkalov commented on the words of Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who on one of the Ukrainian TV channels announced Kyiv’s readiness to restore the banking sector in Donbass.
“To date, we have not received any requests or supporting documents indicating that they are ready to begin work on restoring our banking system,” Tsypkalov said.
“Therefore, for now these are all just empty words,” he emphasized.
“They can’t even agree on the subgroups (within the Contact Group - note from Politnavigator), so, unfortunately, this resumption of the work of banks is not yet a close prospect,” - stated the Lugansk politician.
