Yatsenyuk has driven the Ukrainian economy to the level of North Korea
Kyiv, February 06 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The results of Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s premiership are extremely deplorable indicators of the decline of the Ukrainian economy, says Alexander Sokolovsky, president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Light Industry Employers “Ukrlegprom”.

“Yatsenyuk has been prime minister for almost a year now. The main result of his government’s work is a drop in GDP. Some talk about a drop of 10-12%, some – 20-25%, and if calculated in hard currency, the drop will be higher. GDP per capita, according to some estimates, is now 3-3,5, according to others – 5-6 thousand dollars per capita. This is much less than our neighbors and, especially, in developed countries. Another result of Yatsenyuk’s premiership is the depreciation of the hryvnia by 2-2,5 times.
There is also a result that cannot be explained either by the war or by the fall of the hryvnia: in the ranking of economic freedoms, Ukraine has fallen by 12 points over the past year. Now it is in 162nd place out of 178. A little more, and we will be close to North Korea, which is “leading” from the bottom of the list. All this is the result of incompetence and doing nothing,” says Alexander Sokolovsky.
