About it leader of the Popular Front party Arseniy Yatsenyuk wrote on his Facebook page, commenting on the information about the death of Colonel Maxim Shapoval, an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as a result of an explosion in Kyiv and a hacker attack on government agencies and companies.
“Today’s murder of one of the leaders of the State Intelligence Directorate and cyber attacks on key institutions must be classified as the highest level of danger,” he wrote.
Yatsenyuk also stated the urgent need to convene a security situation room. “There is an urgent need to convene a security situation room chaired by the President of Ukraine,” the politician writes.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, the head of the reserve of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Maxim Shapoval, became a victim of a car explosion in the Solomensky district of Kiev. In addition, it was reported that two people were injured as a result of the car explosion.
