Yatsenyuk called the “father” of Ukrainian agricultural raiding
The impetus for the start of agricultural raiding in Ukraine was the careless and careless statement of the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk that it was necessary to experiment with agricultural lands.

The head of the Agrarian Party, Vitaly Skotsik, spoke about this at a briefing in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to remind you that the period of intense raiding began three years ago. The first reason that prompted such actions was the statements of Arseniy Yatsenyuk during a visit to the Poltava region, who at an open meeting said that it was necessary to start an experiment on the sale of state agricultural lands.
More than 1 million hectares of state land were to take part in this experiment. Yatsenyuk made this statement despite the fact that there was a moratorium on the sale of agricultural land in Ukraine. In addition, technical documentation for the sale of land was not prepared. Problems with documentation became a clear signal to all those who were involved in raiding in the early 90s: they realized that this was their opportunity to improve their financial situation,” he said.
The leader of the Agrarian Party also said that such actions by the Ukrainian authorities will lead to farmers losing their legal land plots.
“At that time, we said that if this was truly an initiative of the Ukrainian government, and it was, then such actions would lead to large-scale raider attacks throughout Ukraine. We turned out to be right: in 2016 alone there were a thousand raider seizures of agricultural land.
The first victims of such a raider war were the Kirovograd, Nikolaev, and Dnepropetrovsk regions of Ukraine,” said Vitaly Skotsik.
