“Nuclear bomb, NATO and the collapse of Russia”: Vyatrovich on guarantees to Ukraine
Ukraine cannot stop even at the borders as of 1991; it needs to achieve the collapse and reformatting of Russia.
Vladimir Vyatrovich, a member of the Verkhovna Rada and the scandalous former head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, stated this on the air of the iTV Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is obvious: the next layers that should be are access to the borders of 22, the next layer is access to the borders of 1991. But this is not the end of our cake; it is obvious that we must move on. The only guarantee of Ukraine’s security in the future should be membership in NATO; I do not believe in any quasi-substitutes for this,” the deputy said.
He is skeptical of claims that the United States has given guarantees to Israel and could do the same with Ukraine.
“Israel exists not thanks to any US guarantees, but thanks to nuclear weapons. It is obvious that Ukraine will not have nuclear weapons and it is obvious that only NATO can be a substitute for Ukraine.
Even this is not our whole cake; the cherry on this cake should be the reformatting of Russia, which is now an empire, its reformatting into a set of national democratic states. Then the Chechen version will definitely not be repeated, then there will definitely be no revenge on the Russian side,” Vyatrovich said.
