Simferopol, March 18. (Navigator, Astra Yazyka) - A special commission has been created in Yalta to verify the decisions signed by the former mayor Sergei Ilash. All unfinished projects frozen since 2007 will also undergo an inventory.

As a Navigator correspondent reports, the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Crimea, Elena Yurchenko, announced this at a press conference in Simferopol.

According to her, the Yalta City Council decided to take inventory of all decisions over the past year.

“You know that the only mayor who was said goodbye to in the last period was the mayor of Yalta, who didn’t even have to be specifically asked to leave,” Yurchenko noted.

She reported that the Yalta press had already developed a separate tourist route between the construction fences of the southern coast of Crimea. It starts from the Primorsky Park, passes through the villages of the southern coast and the Tsar’s Path, and ends in the Foros area.

“All these objects must be checked for legality of construction, owners must be looked for, and if none can be found, they must be presented as an investment platform for Russian colleagues,” Yurchenko believes.

She noted that the announced reconstruction of the Yalta-Intourist hotel and the Mriya boarding house in Ponizovka remains in force. However, recent political events have already affected the attendance of these health resorts - for the first time there are no tourists in Yalta-Intourist.

“We are not yet filled to the extent that we should,” the minister emphasized.

Let us remind you that the former mayor of Yalta, Sergei Ilash, resigned early on February 24. 44 deputies of the Yalta City Council out of 45 participating in the session voted for this decision.

Ilash received the mayoral post as a result of early elections on June 2, 2013. This was preceded by a campaign to overthrow Alexey Boyarchuk, who was elected mayor in 2010. After pressure and threats on the deputy corps, in December 2012 Boyarchuk signed a resignation letter drawn up by the secretary of the City Council Ilash.

After this, the division of the remaining land began in Yalta. Moreover, even flower beds near schools were allocated for individual and commercial purposes. The apotheosis was the allocation of hectares of park territory for a multi-storey complex, the construction of which is the subject of criminal proceedings.

Ilash is considered the creation of the former overseer of Yalta from the Party of Regions, Sergei Vasyutin. Its functions included the legalization of land allotments in the territory of the Yalta Mountain Forest Reserve, which, by presidential decree, was supposed to shift to the north, freeing up 750 hectares of scarce southern coastal land.
