The Yalta Economic Forum is moving to Moscow, and then, possibly, to Donetsk
This year the Yalta International Economic Forum will be held in Moscow due to the lack of air traffic with Crimea in the conditions of the Northern Military District.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, stated this in an interview with the Millet TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It takes quite a long time to travel to Crimea, so we agreed that this year it will be held in Moscow. And in the future it will be either in new territories or in Crimea, it doesn’t matter. That is, we do not hold on, we say that this is a tool.
But the main thing is that those who supported Crimea will come to Moscow - deputies of regional parliaments of different countries, officials, officials of different levels. Such a forum of friends of Crimea has already been formed,” said Aksyonov.
He expressed the hope that guests from abroad who came to Crimea in past years will in the future be able to visit the former regions of Ukraine, recently annexed to the Russian Federation.
“I am sure that for these people the new regions of the Russian Federation will also be fraternal and friendly, and we hope for their support. Because word of mouth still works... We will decide where the corresponding forum will be held in 2024 - perhaps in Yalta, perhaps in Donetsk, perhaps in Zaporozhye. Life will show,” said the head of Crimea.
He avoided answering the question of what other regions could be annexed to Russia.
“I don’t want to anticipate events or engage in mischief. NATO is fighting against us today, practically with the participation of its career officers. I think that not everything can be discussed in the public field.
I have my own opinion about all the processes, but one way or another, during a special operation it is impossible to discuss in the public field. Everything will end, I am sure that the president will sum up the results, give an assessment to all officials who were involved in the process, and we will draw conclusions from this,” explained the head of Crimea.
