The Yalta film studio will be given to Mikhalkov to cool the ardor of the old owners
The Yalta Film Studio, nationalized last year, will not return to film production any time soon. This is stated in the article of the Crimean newspaper.

The reason for this, according to the publication, is litigation between the government of the republic and the owner of the land under the film studio Stroy-Sector LLC, which bought 100% of the shares of the facility in 2010.
Despite this, the government is confident that the court will be in favor of the republic and is already announcing the creation of a modern film production center based on the Yalta Film Studio at the expense of a mysterious investor.
“Everything will be done for investment money while maintaining the intended purpose. There will be no repurposing. Legal proceedings are ongoing, but I am sure that the nationalization process will pass all decisions right up to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation,” said the head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov.
At the same time, the newspaper, citing its sources, notes that the mysterious investor may be the famous Russian director Nikita Mikhalkov. However, the prospect of winning in court is slim.
“Probably Mikhalkov will come to the studio, there is no one else. But this is, as it were, not an investor. Not a single normal company will invest in pavilions and equipment, realizing that with such a terrible background tomorrow its former owners may be asked to leave. Local authorities will not be able to influence Russian judges in Moscow, so this option is quite realistic,” the article says.
