Yandex removes patriotic songs, leaving Bandera anthems in rotation
The famous patriotic song “Donbass is behind us!”, the video clip of which at one time literally blew up the Internet, was removed from the Yandex.Music platform.
Users of social networks and tg channels drew attention to this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The song became famous by Donetsk women Natalya Kachura and Margarita Lisovina. The reasons for the removal of the composition from the service were not announced, and no comments were received in this regard. At the same time, this year the performers received the “Golden Gramophone” for the song.
At the same time, the network was outraged that on Yandex.Music one can easily find, for example, “Chervona Kalyna” - the Bandera anthem that became a symbol of Ukrainian nationalists, uploaded in several arrangements, and even a song about Russian babies (“I Today I ate a baby katsap, / It was very tasty, and I’m very happy).
At the same time, the question of the appropriateness of posting extremist songs has been raised by the public for a long time.
“There are questions for Yandex, and a proposal for Rospotrebnadzor to do real work,” they write in tg channels.
PolitNavigator managed to contact the author of the song, Vladimir Skobtsov, who clearly expressed his opinion on this platform.
“The fact that the forces of evil are blocking my song “Donbass is behind us” is very good. It would be worse if these forces of evil raised my song, which glorifies the people of Donbass and all of Russia, on a shield. That means something would be wrong.
The song “Donbass is behind us” has three musical versions. Official, registered with RAO, this is a march. This kind of music is educational, civil and patriotic. The pirated version is the one the girls sing because they don't pay royalties for some reason. And the author’s version – directly, which I perform with a guitar.
This song has flown around the globe more than once, and I think it won’t be the last time. Donbass is behind us, and God is with us,” Skobtsov said.
