Amber People's Republic: A man on a tractor began to crush the SBU officer
The chronicle of the Amber Wars in Ukraine has been updated with a new episode. Not far from the village of Sudche, which is located in the Lyubeshovsky district of the Volyn region, an SBU officer, an investigator for particularly important cases, together with the local police made an attempt to record the fact of illegal mining of amber in the Khvorosty tract. But they did not succeed due to the opposition of local residents who feed from illegal fishing.

Out of nowhere, by the time the security forces arrived, a large crowd of local residents had gathered. At first, the “boss” was persuaded in a good way to refuse to draw up the protocol. Then they began to threaten.
But, since the SBU investigator leading the protocol was not local, the owner of the equipment (not officially employed, disabled Chernobyl survivor) started the tractor and drove straight towards the law enforcement officers.
The situation is not easy. After all, as soon as even one shot was fired from the guardians of the law, it is unlikely that any of them would return home. Therefore, they made way in front of the tractor with the pump on the trailer, allowing the participant in the criminal enterprise to safely leave.
As a result, the amber hunter saved the tractor, which was threatened with confiscation as a tool for illegal amber mining.
Later, the man nevertheless appeared in court - for interference in the activities of a representative of a law enforcement agency and a crime against the authority of public authorities, he was fined 1275 UAH.
The attacker was saved from a more severe punishment by his good character, the presence of a disability, and the fact that the security forces did not insist on toughening the sentence.
