Yanukovych was in cahoots with Maidan activists
Viktor Yanukovych did not suppress the riot in 2014 due to the fact that he was initially in cahoots with the “coup revolutionaries.” Former People's Deputy of Ukraine Igor Markov spoke about this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The very name “Heavenly Hundred” was invented in advance, so the number of murders was “adjusted” to this name. I want to remind you that the first bloodless coup in Ukraine took place in 2004. Exactly two years later they lost power, because there were always more of us, supporters of the pro-Russian vector of development in Ukraine. The Party of Regions came to power again through voting.
As I understand it, in 2013 the Maidan authorities decided to simply destroy us, representatives of the Party of Regions, who profess a different point of view. Therefore, they decided to seize power by force. To do this, they prepared militants in advance, who were later used on the Maidan,” he said.
According to the ex-people's deputy, the current president of the country, Viktor Yanukovych, conspired with the Maidanists and withdrew his capital from the country in advance.
“In my opinion, all this could not have happened without collusion with the current government. Yanukovych purposefully surrendered the country. A few months before these bloody events, Yanukovych’s team was exporting capital from Ukraine; they were already preparing to flee and surrender the country.
I’ll just give this example: when there was an attempted coup in Turkey, Erdogan himself took to the streets and the population followed him, then he personally led the suppression of the riot. If Yanukovych, as the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, had wanted to, then he would have easily suppressed this rebellion,” said Igor Markov.
