This was stated by President Viktor Yanukovych, who fled Kiev, who held a press conference on Russian TV together with ex-Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka and ex-Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vitaly Zakharchenko.
“The director of the CIA visited Kyiv and held meetings with illegally appointed security officials and acting. Turchynov... It was after these meetings that the decision was made on a military operation in the East of Ukraine... The United States bears its share of responsibility for the outbreak of the civil war,” Yanukovych said.
Zakharchenko, in turn, stated that “Tymoshenko was present at the Security Council - she is not a member of the government, the Security Council, but she is present there.”
And Pshonka, who gained scandalous fame thanks to photographs of his fabulously expensive mansion, declared a lack of “morality and ethics” in the new Ukrainian government.
