“The previous leadership of the state, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the SBU knew in advance that Crimea would be annexed by Russia. On February 19, 2014, the most high-profile criminal proceedings were urgently transferred from the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine to the Security Service of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Considering that the former head of the Sevastopol department of the SBU Petr Zima, appointed by the self-proclaimed Prime Minister Aksenov as the head of the SBU in Crimea, together with the entire management staff went over to the side of the Russian Federation, these criminal proceedings remained in the created FSB department in Crimea, and some of them, according to available information I have information that was transferred to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the purpose of blackmail and pressure on individual politicians in Ukraine,” Moskal wrote on Facebook.
He listed the numbers of criminal cases transferred to the FSB. According to Moskal, these cases relate to high-profile murders in the 1990s - Yevgeny Shcherban and Vadim Getman, as well as the president of Itera Energy Shvedchenko, preparations for the assassination attempt on Igor Bakai, etc.
A case was also transferred regarding abuses in the use of money received from the sale of greenhouse gas emission quotas, in which Yulia Tymoshenko was a defendant.
