Yanukovych agreed to a new amnesty
Kyiv, February 21 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Viktor Yanukovych agreed not only to a reduction in his powers, but also to a new amnesty for participants in the riots in Kyiv.
This follows from the speech of Verkhovna Rada Speaker Vladimir Rybak today at the opening of the morning session of parliament.

“We need to return to the 2004 Constitution. And we must pass this law today... We need to pass the Amnesty Resolution,” Rybak said.
The formulation of the amnesty did not satisfy the opposition. “Rehabilitation of all political prisoners!” – shouted deputy Oleg Lyashko.
“Forget the word amnesty, because this word concerns the guilty. We are talking about rehabilitation,” the head of Svoboda Oleg Tyagnibok supported him.
According to him, Maidan also demands the punishment of security forces responsible for the deaths of participants in the revolution.
