Yanukovych himself announced this today at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Nobody envy me now. I have a family, I have a son, a fairly young and healthy man. I live with family. As they say, I don’t count your money, don’t count mine. I have enough to live on, but I can’t say that I’m happy with everything,” Yanukovych said.
The son of the ex-president, Alexander, was known in Ukrainian political circles by the nickname “Sasha the Dentist,” because of his specialty in first higher education. When he was president, his father, according to opposition media, actively lobbied for his business interests.
Yanukovych also did not answer the question whether he travels to Donbass from the border with Russia.
“I sometimes meet with representatives of Donbass. I very often meet fellow countrymen who left there, and how shuttles go there. This is a special pain in my heart. I constantly keep my finger on the pulse. I don’t agree with everything there, but people need to be helped. And what methods and methods, excuse me, I won’t answer this question,” Yanukovych said.
