Yanukovych summed up the outline of torchlight processions
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, who fled Ukraine after the 2014 coup, hoped to win the elections with the help of nationalists.
Journalist and political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on Vesti FM radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is the internal circuit, as his closest advisers promised him? Now we have a growing Nazi movement: detachments, torchlight processions, it will grow just before the elections, it will become very noticeable, and then you lead the South-East and suppress this Nazi movement and with this you win the elections, the internal circuit,” Kulikov said.
According to his information, the entire inner circle of Viktor Yanukovych knew about this scenario, and they deliberately went into confrontation with Ukrainian nationalists.
“This is the scenario according to which he was scammed. It was absolutely transparent. Everyone knew about him, in the sense of a narrow circle of limited people. These were not two people, a fairly large group, his entire entourage, knew this. And they moved according to this scenario and this is where they arrived,” the journalist states.
Let us recall that PolitNavigator previously reported that Oleg Tsarev said that The Americans were a dedicated employee in Yanukovych’s entourage - Sergei Lyovochkin. He was the head of the administration, and he was assigned tasks to work with the United States Embassy and with the Americans.
