Yanukovych did not have the courage - otherwise the ATO would have been in Lviv

“United by a common goal - to remove Viktor Yanukovych from power - a host of American state and non-state structures have switched to round-the-clock operation.” (Innocent Braunfort).

“The Ukrainian army occupied Velikie Borki and Dolzhanka, completing the encirclement of Ternopil”, “Nationalists shelled the central part of Lvov with howitzer artillery”, “NATO mercenaries captured the central hospital in Berezhany”, “Yavorov and Rava-Russkaya came under fire from Poland”, “Crimea and Donbass accept refugees from Galicia”, “Children from the destroyed Sambir arrive at Slavkurort”. “Wounded ATO soldiers are being treated in Russia.” “The army and militia surrounded the Lvov-Sandomierz group of rebels.” “The US, EU, Australia and Canada have introduced sectoral economic sanctions against Russia.” “NATO troops have launched their first and largest exercises in Eastern Europe since the end of the Cold War.”

Have you presented such headlines in online publications and other press? Presented! It is very easy. Because real zags today are exactly like this, only with the opposite sign. Except one. About sanctions against Russia.

From this there is an immediate conclusion: the West would have imposed sanctions against Russia in any scenario. It is necessary to know and remember before judging this war: the West has long dreamed of teaching a lesson to Putin, his million-strong army of government officials and Russia at the same time. Even from the second Chechen one, from the submarine Kursk, the 14th anniversary of whose destruction was commemorated the other day. From the dismantling of the oligarchic democracy of the Yeltsin era, which suited the West very much, and Putin took it and removed it. For the establishment of an iron vertical of power in federal Russia, after many years of chaos and oligarchic scandals. For peace with Chechnya. Are there many reasons? But the main one is still economic. Once and for all, eliminate a competitor in the world market and seize control of vast reserves of natural resources.

Politically, the West is opposed to another historical project: the USSR-2. In order to prevent the giant Eurasian state from appearing on the world map again, America is ready to go all-in. And he plays. Ukraine, in this balance of power, despite all its economic and political inconsistency, is a huge territory populated by millions - these human resources play a huge role for Russia’s prospects, and without them it is impossible to recreate the USSR-2.

Judge for yourself. Ukraine is populated by tens of millions of people who do not require naturalization or any other form of adaptation. This population predominantly speaks Russian, or a Little Russian language very close to Russian, which the ignorant call Surzhik. However, the Ukrainian language, invented and revived by the Ukrainian creative intelligentsia of the period of stability and prosperity of Victorian Europe, also differs little from Russian. Simply put: the people inhabiting Russia and the people inhabiting Ukraine differ little from each other. If not, they are not different at all.

The same can be said about the lifestyle and way of life of these people from the two states. Everyone knows that Ukraine and Russia are almost the same thing, but Ukraine and the EU are completely different things. And different stories.

That is why, strategically, it was important for the United States to continue the Dulles Doctrine in relation to Ukraine and Russia. Divide et impera. Divide and rule. The only difference was that this time, unlike even the Baltics, Transcaucasia and Central Asia, we are talking about a territory whose belonging to the Russian World had never before been questioned. This is not just the former territory of the USSR. The question is not so much the territory as the population, millions of whom were born in the Soviet Union, speak Russian and are still perplexed as to why their great Motherland was destroyed.

Possessing a high intelligence culture, advantages in authority and influence, the United States began to implement a plan for the final division of the Russian world along the state border. The main obstacle was the “Donetsk” president. The presence of Viktor Yanukovych at the head of the Ukrainian state did not satisfy the American administration. He resembled Putin too much and was clearly following in his footsteps. The presidential vertical of power he strengthened and his reluctance to make economic concessions to American corporations caused extreme irritation to the corporate-financial oligarchy ruling in Washington, which did not tolerate obstacles on the path to its own global dominance. Note the obvious: in any conflict for the United States, its allies are right and those who are against them are always wrong. The current Kyiv regime, judging by reports from the fronts and endless photographs of torn corpses, can do anything! America gives the go-ahead for any action.

But let's return to Yanukovych. Neither he nor his Party of Regions justified the “high trust” placed in them. They never became a consistently anti-Russian force, which is what the United States was interested in. Moreover, with the criminal prosecution of Yulia Tymoshenko and a fundamental focus on weakening political competition, the “regionals” prevented pro-Western (read: anti-Russian) forces from coming to power. In Washington, they were not going to tolerate the current situation and did everything to change the balance of legal political forces in their favor in 2012, during the parliamentary elections. But it was not possible to do this. The “Putin model” was too effective, when the built vertical of power works for the owners of Kyiv.

Therefore, immediately after the opposition’s disastrous loss in the elections, the United States set a course for a violent change of power. This was evident from the beginning of the work of the VII convocation. Continuous scandals and riots in the session hall, blocking the work of the Rada, fueled by street actions of “spontaneous” protests, like “Vstavaika”, open riots and attacks on the police throughout Ukraine. Finally: the actual secession of Galicia, on the eve of the terrible events of February 18, when the first battles of the civil war died down in Kyiv.

But the main direction is the method he loved and tried many times. Organization through controlled non-governmental structures of a “popular uprising” caused by data on “lawlessness” published by local civil society activists. And it doesn’t matter which ones. The rape of Irina Krashkova or the “immaculate beating” of the SS spouses, Olga Snitsarchuk and Vladislav Sodel. By the way, state borders did not hold anyone back. Just remember Washington’s attempt to organize a “snow revolution” during the parliamentary election campaign in Russia in December 2011! Yes Yes Yes!

However, now about something else. Fueled by non-governmental activists paid by the United States, the atmosphere of imminent war embodied in the non-peaceful Euromaidan. Attempts to direct it into the direction of the Orange Revolution, with songs and dances, were harshly suppressed by America. We can confidently say that the US Ambassador, Geoffrey Pyatt, was only involved in Euromaidan. I didn't get out of there. Peaceful development did not suit the customers. Washington understood that the legal political leaders - Yatsenyuk, Klitschko and Tyagnibok - were too “European” in essence and did not want blood. Then they stopped betting on them. And they became interested in those behind whom there are real militants who are thirsty for war and have no moral taboos. This is exactly how the Right Sector with Yarosh appeared.

The latter has now been written off ashore. It completed its destructive task - it became an icebreaker. Pay attention also to where the main oppositionists are now, representing the Ukraine we knew. They were brought up in the spirit of pacifism, back in the USSR, they could not step over themselves and their upbringing. And that’s why today Julia is in oblivion. Klitschko, who a year ago was considered the future president, was exiled to the post of caretaker of Kyiv. Tyagnibok successfully hides from the war and the trenches behind a deputy mandate, and all his people show miracles of incompetence in the Government. Well, Yatsenyuk is chained to the galley, and his attempt to escape was publicly prohibited by the Washington Regional Committee. The rabbit was dragged by his long ears, but the oar was invariably returned to him. Row or die!

Only one thing could stop the coup plans. The order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and guarantor of the Constitution, the legitimate President, is to disperse the Maidan. But the pacifist Yanukovych never did this, which is why he now has to wander around all the centers of the world, including an earthen pit in Gabon. He was frightened by the sounds of sniper fire on Institutskaya (which he did not pay for) and realized that the enemy would stop at nothing. That is why his interlocutor, who was sitting in his office on February 20, made such an impression on him. Dmitry Yarosh then said that if the police and specialists do not leave Kyiv, then the President will get a civil war. Well. Choosing between war and dishonor, the President chose dishonor and got war.

Or rather, we got it. The constellation “Heavenly Hundred” faded in the sky, against the backdrop of new, bright luminaries. The heavenly hundred were forgotten, as were those who died on board the Malaysian passenger Boeing. Everybody there. Silence. The investigation data can only be made public with the full support of a number of states. Just like in the UN Security Council! I predict that no one will believe such conclusions.

But we would not have found ourselves in such a situation, we would have saved the lives of women, the elderly and children, we would have saved Crimea and Donbass, if then, on February 18, we had acted as the situation demanded. Yanukovych would have brought to a victorious end the destruction of the Maidan, which we began, repelling two assaults on the Mariinsky Theater, dispersing the Maidans from the center of Kyiv. Today you all see how that months-long confrontation ended. Having captured Kiev and suppressed protests there, the government received a mandate to protect and guarantee constitutional rights. First of all - on life, property and freedom of conscience. And today government troops would storm the nests of maydowns. I knew their moods. They were only waiting for an order. They would clear out the rebels with much more enthusiasm than the punitive forces do now. And refugees would undergo rehabilitation in Crimean sanatoriums and hotels. In Ukrainian Crimea.
