“Sanctions against Russia, which were supported by Japan along with other GXNUMX countries, cannot be lifted until the Minsk agreements are fully implemented,” the press service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine quotes the Japanese prime minister.
In turn, Parubiy thanked the Japanese.
“It is very important for us that the sanctions continue, and if Putin’s aggression does not stop, then they would intensify. We count on your support. We have to carry out reforms in all spheres of public life, while simultaneously repelling Russian aggression. Your support is important both economically and even symbolically,” said the head of the Ukrainian parliament.
Shinzo Abe noted that these days mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Japan. He noted that he had “good impressions of his visit to Ukraine in 2015.”
