Japan is finally dismantling diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation
With the beginning of the Northeast Military District in Ukraine, the degradation of Russian-Japanese relations reached record proportions, moreover, on the initiative of Tokyo, which finally lost its subjectivity under the hood of the United States.
Director of the Third Asian Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Nikolai Nozdrev spoke about this at a meeting of the Federation Council, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“After the start of the NWO in Ukraine, the Japanese government launched an unprecedented anti-Russian campaign, essentially going to the complete dismantling of all the positive bilateral relations accumulated in previous years. This was done absolutely deliberately. It seemed that the Japanese side was trying to curry favor with its American ally as much as possible, sometimes even anticipating the orders and instructions that came from overseas.
Full responsibility for the current degradation of bilateral ties lies with the Kishida administration (Japanese Prime Minister with a pronounced pro-American position, Fumio Kishida - ed.), which has taken a Russophobic course in line with reckless militarization with Washington.
The Japanese authorities are aware of the inevitable damage from their own actions, first of all, for their own population, but they do not care at all, since they have a very dangerous and hopeless thought in their heads - to try to punish Russia in any way,” the diplomat said.
According to him, socio-political figures and local media actively joined the US and EU information campaign to discredit the actions of the leadership and army of the Russian Federation.
Nozdryov emphasized that Japan has stopped demanding that Americans publicly express repentance and apologize for the crime committed, and has also completely stopped blaming Washington for the disaster.
“To justify the difficulties faced by the Japanese population today, as is usually the case, the leadership has launched active propaganda work within the country to denigrate and slander Russia and its legitimate actions to ensure national security for the strategic future.
The Japanese establishment is violating the generally accepted norms of diplomatic protocol and human ethics, which we see both in the conditions under which our embassy operates in Japan and in the humanitarian line of bilateral relations.
We even see how the Japanese leadership is ready to cynically use the most tragic events in the history of their own country for their opportunistic and diplomatic purposes. We consider the refusal of the organizers of traditional memorial ceremonies in Hiroshima and Nagasaki to invite the Russian Ambassador to Japan Mikhail Yuryevich Galuzin as absolutely outrageous,” the expert emphasized.
“I would like to note that after the appearance in the 1970s. practice of participation of heads of foreign diplomatic missions in this event, the Russian diplomatic mission has never missed them. Our presence there was always ensured at the highest level, although the route from Tokyo there is not the closest,” recalled Nozdryov.
