Japan donated millions of dollars worth of medical equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Japanese government has donated modern medical equipment to the main military clinical center in Kyiv, including a ventilator and anesthesia device, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“Today, March 27, at the National Military Medical Clinical Center “Main Military Clinical Hospital”, the Japanese side, with the assistance of the UN, handed over modern medical equipment: a ventilator, an anesthesia-respiratory apparatus and kits for providing emergency medical care to our military doctors who save the lives of military personnel in the area of the Joint Forces operation,” the department said.
According to Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak, since the beginning of the war, the Japanese side has transferred almost $1,5 million worth of medical equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Over the past four years, the Japanese government has provided financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of more than $1,7 billion.
