Yarosh spoke about the preparation of mobile sabotage groups against the Russian army
If a war breaks out between Ukraine and Russia, then the Ukrainian side should not get involved in positional battles.
The founder of the Right Sector, Verkhovna Rada deputy and commander of the illegal armed formation Ukrainian Volunteer Army Dmitry Yarosh stated this in an interview with Ukrainskaya Pravda, answering the question of what can be opposed to Russia in the event of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
“Why are we training mobile sabotage groups? Imagine: a Russian column is coming. We lay out landmines and hold, for example, a bridge. Pickup trucks fly up and shoot several pieces of equipment with LNG or ATGMs. And we leave immediately.
It is important for us to inflict losses on them that are incompatible with their further advancement. You can’t get involved in all these positional battles, because that’s where aviation and helicopters will work. According to my latest information, they have 24 KA-52s located in Dzhankoy alone. The characteristics are almost like the American Apaches. That is, they will give us a very good light,” said the militant commander.
According to him, in the confrontation with Russia it will be necessary to conduct an active defense.
“We can retreat tactically, surrender some territories. No need to panic. The enemy must be worn down. When he enters the city - maximum approach, contact at 30-50 meters. Then the enemy’s “art,” aviation, and missile technology will not be able to work. I read a lot about all these tactical things even before the war. I studied the tactics of Russian troops in the first and second Chechen war,” said Yarosh.
