Yashin: “Fyodorov, who scolds the agents of the West, votes for them himself”
Moscow liberal Ilya Yashin exposed the Russian State Duma deputy from United Russia, Evgeny Fedorov, who is the founder of the National Liberation Movement (NOD).
The liberal posted the corresponding video on his YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Criticizing US agents in power and predatory reforms, Deputy Fedorov, together with his colleagues from United Russia, for some reason supports all this with their own vote. Fedorov has more than once called the leadership of the Central Bank Western agents who work against Russia in the interests of international financial organizations, in particular the IMF. In 2013, the Duma approved Elvira Nabiullina as head of the Central Bank, whom members of the NOD movement simply fiercely hate. And what do you think, Deputy Fedorov voted on her candidacy? We open the State Duma website. Deputy Fedorov voted for Nabiullina. Fedorov tells his followers in the NOD that the Americans appointed their agents to the leadership of the Central Bank, but in reality it was Deputy Fedorov himself who appointed them,” Yashin noted.
“Another example is pension reform. Fedorov sharply criticized it and explained that this is an anti-Russian measure, invented in Washington and imposed on us by the IMF. Fedorov’s supporters protested against raising the retirement age and appealed to the American authorities demanding that our pensions be returned to us. But while supporters were outraged on the streets and on social networks, Evgeniy Fedorov himself came to the State Duma meeting, drank a cup of coffee in the buffet and calmly voted for raising the retirement age,” Yashin said.
He also recalled that in the 90s, Fedorov was elected to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, being a member of the electoral bloc “Russian Movement of Democratic Reforms”, together with liberals Grigory Popov and Anatoly Sobchak, worked on the advisory council under President Boris Yeltsin, as well as in the presidential administration when it was led by Anatoly Chubaise
