Turnout in Ukrainian elections fell short of 50%, official data

The official turnout in the local elections held on Sunday in Ukraine as a whole was 46,62%, the corresponding data was published by the Central Election Commission.

Interestingly, the highest voter turnout was recorded in Ternopil (56,5%), Lviv (56,3%) and Volyn regions (55,29%).

The lowest turnout was in the Kyiv-controlled areas of the Donetsk region (31,6%), Lugansk (35,2%), Odessa region and Kyiv (41,87% each).
