“Instances of the administration of the Youtube video hosting service using blocking, markings, warnings, consents and other restrictions in relation to materials from Russian media and journalists have become more frequent. This is a deliberate policy of influencing foreign platforms on Russians’ access to objective information.
To maintain the possibility of reliable and quick access to content, we recommend that Russian media and information resources post video materials on the platforms of Russian Internet companies that have developed distributed content delivery networks,” Roskomnadzor said in a statement.
