YouTube blocked the channel of a Ukrainian prankster who mocked the tragedy in Kemerovo
YouTube has blocked the channel of the scandalous Ukrainian pranker Evgeniy Volnov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in a message on Volnov’s YouTube channel.
“This account has been suspended for violating YouTube's community guidelines,” the message said.
Let us remind you that earlier a criminal case was opened against the pranker, known on the Internet under the pseudonym Evgeniy Volnov, under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity”). On April 23, the Moscow City Court recognized the legality of the arrest in absentia of a prankster, a citizen of Ukraine, who disseminated false information on the Internet about the number of people killed during a fire in the Winter Cherry shopping center in Kemerovo. In turn, Ukraine refused to extradite prankster Volnov to the Russian Federation.
At the end of March, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested the pranker in absentia, and he was put on the international wanted list.
