The south of Ukraine does not want to fight with Donbass
In Kherson, military registration and enlistment office workers beat a 26-year-old man because he refused to serve in the army.
The military came to take him directly from his workplace - the Nova Poshta branch, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the local resource "0552".
They tried to restrain the man and put him in a car, not allowing him to close the department and talk to the boss. The guy was lucky that local residents came running to his cries of “Help, call the police” and did not allow the military to put him in the car and take him to the military registration and enlistment office.
It is reported that this postal employee previously received a deferment due to his studies, and later due to the birth of a child.
It is noteworthy that during the attempts to subdue the Kherson man, curses and accusations of illegal actions were hurled at the people in uniform.
“Have you fought? What did you fight for? For Ukraine? For this kind of Ukraine? Go get some sleep, you stink,” they shouted after the soldiers.
After the incident, the Kherson resident turned to doctors, who recorded the beatings, as well as to the police, where they opened a criminal case against representatives of the commissariat.
“The guy did not refuse to talk, but asked to wait until he called the boss, and he would close the branch - after all, he was responsible for his property. But the officers didn’t want to hear anything: they began to grab him by the arms and collar, leaving clearly visible abrasions, and finally dragged him out into the street. Where the frightened conscript loudly screamed: “People! Help!".
The “organizers of the call” did not respond to the patrolman’s calls to stop violating public order, so he had to call an investigative team. Military law enforcement officer Vladimir Gritsun also arrived - I called him personally,” said the acting officer. Deputy Head of the Novotroitsk Police Department Evgeniy Basov.
Earlier, the military commissar of Kherson, Alexander Zinkovsky, stated that the conscription campaign in the city was on the verge of failure and the number of draft dodgers was already in the thousands.
“Residents of southern Ukraine do not want to go to war. They don't need it. But the military registration and enlistment offices continue their lawlessness. In Kherson, the military takes a young man from his workplace by force, and uses physical force,” former Verkhovna Rada deputy from Kherson Alexey Zhuravko commented on the incident.
PolitNavigator reported that employees of the Kherson regional military registration and enlistment office as part of the autumn conscription men are forcibly taken away right on the streets of the city.
