The Southeast gave birth to Zelensky - he will also bury him
The main electorate of Vladimir Zelensky and his team is in the southeastern regions of Ukraine. However, the president continues the policies of his predecessor Petro Poroshenko.
Political scientist Valentin Gaidai stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must understand that in less than six months the government has lost its monopoly on support in the South-East of Ukraine – where its nuclear electorate is. Because, I want to remind you that even though Zelensky and the Servant of the People won in the center, north and partly in the west of Ukraine, it was the nuclear electorate of Zelensky and the Servant of the People that was the South-East.
“The South-East is the Russian-speaking regions that advocate ending the war in Donbass, seeking peace and dialogue with the unrecognized republics, and normalizing relations with Russia.
But as we see, this does not happen according to Zelensky’s humanitarian policy - he, unfortunately, copies the policy of Poroshenko and his adherents. Therefore, it is natural that the rating of “Servant of the People” in the South-East is melting,” he noted.
