The south-east of Ukraine does not care about cyborgs – the living and the “dead”
In the southeastern regions of Ukraine, bordering Donbass, the topic of war is not being promoted, except for rare reports of exchanges and other high-profile events.
The famous Kiev journalist of liberal-nationalist views, Vakhtang Kipiani, complained about this during the Via Carpatia forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When you say that Ukraine is at war, this is not a diagnosis. The country lives without war. There are monitoring of the printed press of the south-eastern regions, in particular the Kharkov region, which show that the regional press, the city press does not write about the war.
That is, a resident of the Kharkov region, which has a border with the Lugansk region, he, in principle, from a local newspaper, which was financed, until recently, by the regional administration, for example, I am already silent about the formally independent ones who belong to the oligarchy, he simply does not know, except for rare reports either about exchanges, or about executions of individual people. That is, war, unfortunately, does not exist as a factor in our daily life.
How many Ukrainian TV channels have regular projects about the war? So that we are regularly told about the fate of the people who are fighting, who protect us. They happen here and there, but there are no permanent ones.
There is the website “Novynarnya”, which writes, for example, about the war, by the way, with the support of the state, the Ministry of Information Policy, in particular, writes about the war, about soldiers, about officers, about changes - obviously, this is just a small initiative. This should be part of state policy,” the journalist laments.
