Yuriy Lutsenko arrived for the video interrogation of Yanukovych
Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko arrived at the Svyatoshinsky District Court of Kyiv, where a video interrogation of ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych is to take place. Yanukovych himself is already in the building of the Rostov court, with which a teleconference will be established.

“Lutsenko, as a prosecutor, should monitor the rule of law and not interfere in judicial proceedings. If we consider this trial as a PR campaign, then I don’t think that this Demosthenes, who forgot to spit out a pebble, will be able to win there,” Ukrainian political scientist Valentin Gladkikh said on TV channel 112.
Yanukovych was brought in as a witness in the case of five ex-fighters of the Berkut special unit, accused of shooting people on the Maidan in February 2014, at the request of the defendants’ lawyers.
