Lawyer: Ukraine in court can achieve a revision of gas prices no sooner than in a few years
Kyiv, May 01 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – If Ukraine begins to resolve the gas dispute with Gazprom in the Stockholm court, then the result can be expected in five years, lawyers say.

This opinion was expressed at a press conference on the “gas war” between Ukraine and Russia by the President of the Ukrainian foreign law firm Lions Ligitate Denis Kurdilchuk.
In his opinion, ideally such a case could take two to three years, but this can hardly be counted on.
But before filing a lawsuit in the Stockholm court, you should carefully and carefully study the legal side of the issue, otherwise there is a high probability that the case will be lost, the expert believes. Nevertheless, the chance of winning the case if handled correctly is quite high - after all, many EU countries have already achieved a revision of prices for Russian gas.
However, the expert adds, much will change in the world over such a period, including the power in Russia. After all, all the negativity in relations between the two countries, including on gas issues, now comes from one person - the Russian president, the Ukrainian lawyer believes. Denis Kurdilchuk hopes that if the government in Russia changes, this may help resolve the issue.
